2026 Dagwood Dog Eating Competition

Our Australia Day Dagwood Dog Eating Competition is back — and it’s bigger, bolder, and battered to perfection!

Join us on January 26th at the Bribie Island Bowls Club to cheer on the brave competitors (or throw your hat in the ring yourself) in our annual Dagwood Dog Eating Competition. With a whopping $1,500 first prize up for grabs, the stakes are high, and the dogs are hot!

You must be 18 years of age or older to enter this contest. This application must be completed in order to participate. A fully refundable $20 fee is required to secure your entry. This fee is to be paid at our Reception. This deposit will be returned to the contestant on arrival at the venue on the day of competition.
